OK, so I don't work for PPD anymore, but some of my friends are nice enough to sneak Chad and I in so we have an excuse to get dressed up. After all it is the adult prom of Wilmington.

This makes 5 years running!

Early Thanksgiving with Friends

Just like last year we got together with some friends to celebrate Thanksgiving. Friends are such an important part of our lives, Chad and I like to share our holidays with them as well. After all why should only family get all the memories.

OK, so my mom and dad are there every year! If my mom wasn't there we wouldn't have any turkey. Did you actually think I could cook one? LOL!

Universal Studios - Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights was awesome, the haunted houses scared the crap out of our friend Bryna. I would recommend it to anyone (at least once in your life) but I would also tell you not to do anything else that day. Also be prepared to drink, there are bars every where; on line, right outside the haunted houses, on the street, on the way to lines. Can you say a park full of drunks!

We spent the first half of the day at Epcot and went to Universal from 6 pm til Midnight, my feet were killing me and I was exhausted. I slept like a baby.

Halloween at Disney

The magic of Disney made me feel like a kid again, so much that I thought I could fit at the table in Pooh's house. At least I didn't get my butt stuck in a window trying to crawl after a jar of honey. LOL!

Acting Soccer Mom for a week (KY)

What picture would be more appropriate for an acting soccer mom than a picture of my nephew playing soccer. No matter what people may say I can do nice things, like watch my brother's kids for a week so he can go out of town.

Running kids around for a week gave me a new perspective of what it is like to be a parent. I think they don't get enough credit, driving a mini-van is hard work.

A night out on the town - Charlotte

So after the very hot drag race, Shawn, Chad and I went out for a night on the town with our friend Tony who lives in Charlotte. (Shawn left, me center, Chad right.) You have to love being able to walk from your place to all the bars. No DUI for us!

Drag Race in Charlotte

Charlotte put in a new drag way and Chad's franchise is a sponsor of one of the drag teams (the blue car at the front of the photo) so we head up there for the inaugural race. It was louder than I could ever imagine, thank god for earplugs. It was really pretty cool, one of those things you should try once. Imagine going 300 mph!!! We got to watch them rebuild the motors while we ate lunch, about 10 feet away from the table. You think your job is the same old thing every day, imagine rebuilding the same motor 3 times in one day!

Labor Day with the family (NY)

During my shopping trip I headed out on the island to see the family. While I was out at Danny's house we celebrated Emma's birthday.

Girls weekend shopping NY - Laborday weekend 2008

What a better city to shop in than NY? My friend Bryna (middle) invited me to stay with her sister Katy (left). The picture was taken at a very cool rooftop bar on 5th avenue, I think between 26th and 27th Street.

Well more importantly I bought 3 pairs of shoes and 2 handbags on the trip. You know me, big feet are hard to find shoes for.

Girls weekend in Puerto Rico July/Aug 2008

So once again I was traveling for pleasure. Myself and some of my girlfriends spent, 5 trying, days in Puerto Rico. On our last day there we went ziplinning through the rain forest, that is what you see in this picture.

Outer Banks NC July 2008

So I may not be traveling for work but I do try to travel anyway. What can I say they give me all this vaction time, I have to use it. So Chad and I went to Avon in the outerbanks this summer with some friends of ours and their family. A few days at the beach was nice. To be honest we spent the whole time by the pool. I don't really like sand much and besides I live 10 minutes from the beach now.

Mom's Birthday

For mom's birthday we all went out to eat at a nice Italian restaurant here in Wilmington (Chad, Hopey, Mom and Dad.)

Christmas In New Bern

Chad and I went to New Bern, NC for Christmas to see his family. His Aunt, her husband and his grandmother all live there.
